July 27: Home Grown
This will be kind of an informal meeting.
The Seattle FileMaker scene is getting more and more robust, and we’ll open the projector to anyone who has something they want to share, work on, fix, or cry about.
Phil Smith is threatening to make it, so if it comes to crying, you’ll have a sympathetic shoulder.
I’ve spoken to few folks with things to share so this should be a very interesting meeting.
See you there. - John

Sounds great; hope you can make it.

I think this is a great idea, I’d be very interested to hear what folks are working on. If there is time or interest I would be happy to talk for a few minutes about our site. I think the main features of interest are high level security (HIPPA compliant) and a user friendly design.

A problem that came up that I would like some thoughts on is grouping data in a portal similar to how you would generate a report, is it possible?

Hope John, Gerald, and Bruce can share some highlights from the PauseOnError conference last week in NY.

If there is time and I am able to make it, perhaps the group would like to see how we use Filemaker to support our automotive clients. This would be much more of a user and solutions discussion rather than anything internal or technical with regards to Filemaker
