Special November FileMaker Presentation and Workshop | Outerspace Interface: The Reactor World Tour
The Reactor World Tour is on it’s way! From New Zealand to Tokyo… London… Gothenburg… Sydney… and Phoenix!
Outerspace Interface : Extending Your FileMaker Database UI with Reactor
Impress Users. Save time. Do the impossible: A free presentation and workshop.
The evening blast-offs with an overview of what Reactor is and what it can do… things like full drag and drop calendars, interactive charts, sliders, ImageFlow and OS native controls. It’s pretty incredible, so even if you’re pushed for time at least come along for the first 30 minutes.
The second part of the evening will be a workshop starting with stuff that is ridiculously easy with Reactor, like:
- The best way to view PDFs within FileMaker
- An easy way to put dynamic text and calculations on layouts without calc fields
- How to make true OS native buttons that can be hidden or disabled simply
Then it gets really interesting with the more complex controls: this time round they’re going to be showing off the new Gantt Chart Pro control and walking you through how to put it into a database. This control has a split personality: it’s a great tool for both Project Planning applications and Booking applications.
Finally, for the hardcore they’re going to be showing off the “BlackBox Builder”, a tool for building your own UI widgets in Reactor.
These guys are coming all the way from New Zealand just to see us, yet the presentation is free of charge, so do take the opportunity to see some amazing stuff.
Thursday, November 12th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm
Elk’s Lodge: 14424 North 32nd Street
Phoenix, AZ 85032 (west side of 32nd Street, between Thunderbird and Greenway Road).
Registration is not required, but it would really help them with planning, so please put your name down here.
